2020 is finally over! We are excited to now be able to say that, barring any unforeseen issues, KC Brick Store will be opening this year! It has been a while since we have posted a status update, so here’s the latest on what we have been up to.
Over the last few months, we have been visiting LEGO resale stores to get a better understanding of what exactly we want KC Brick Store to look and feel like. We got the chance to sit down and chat with our friends over at The Minifig Shop and learned a lot about what goes into running a successful store. At the same time, we met with our friends at Union Co and they designed a fantastic logo for us!
While all this was going on, we finalized our plans, met with advisers, and are now securing a location. We have also been buying up inventory and cleaning/prepping it for sale in the store (check out the details in our new blog post!).
All that to say, it has been a busy end to 2020 for KC Brick Store! 2020 was a very tough year for many reasons, but we are optimistic that 2021 will be better.
