As the holiday season reaches its peak and the year comes to a close, we wanted to take a few moments to look back on the progress this year. At this point last year, we were hoping to be open by end of 2021. As you may have noticed, that did not quite happen as planned… Unfortunately, various delays pushed back our timeline a bit. But the good news is that despite these headwinds, we are closer than ever to our Spring 2022 opening!
Over the last few months, we have seen terrific progress. We secured our location, were featured in the Shawnee Mission Post, ramped up our inventory purchasing, and were even featured on KMBC’s evening news!
The next few months will be similarly packed with more inventory purchasing (please reach out if you want to sell!), construction, and store opening prep. We will be sharing a more precise opening date in the next month or two, so please stay tuned for updates.
Thank you for sticking with us for this exciting journey. We can’t wait to see you in the store in a few months! In the meantime, we hope you get a chance to rest and relax in the company of family and friends.
